Bluewing Terms and Conditions

Rate Includes

Rates include GST and insurance. Unlimited KMs apply for hires three days or longer (one and two day hires receive 100kms free per day, thereafter .25c per KM).

Upgrades

A free upgrade, subject to availability. This is either to the next vehicle class or within the same class, from a quality car to a late model car.

One Way Rentals

Available between locations, subject to availability, with a minimum hire of five days (inter-island hires must have a minimum of five days hire on each Island). One way drop fees may apply.

Early Return

Returning your vehicle before the due back date may incur a one day penalty fee.

Pickup and Drop-offs

Available from the airport/hotel within 10kms from the Pegasus depot. This is a free service between the hours of 8am-6pm, seven days a week. You will be transported to the depot for your car.

You may return your car to the airport during working hours for a fee of $20.After hours pickup and drop-off fee is charged at $20 each.

Rotorua depot charges $15 each way for airport delivery during working hours.
Dunedin depot charges $25 each way for airport delivery during working hours.
Queenstown depot charges $35 total for airport delivery during working hours.

Part Day Charges

Minimum hire charge is one day (a 24-hour period from time of pickup). Additional hours will be charged at 20% of the daily rate, up to five hours in which case a full extra day will be charged.

Bond and Insurance Excess

An excess of $1000 + gst is required while the car is on hire which is secured by an imprint of your credit card. This is not processed, provided the car is returned in the same condition it was hired in. Single vehicle accident excess is $2000 + gst. A higher excess may apply to sports, large wagons & 4WD's, executive plus, minibus and campervan classes. Collision Damage Waiver costs an extra $10 per day and reduces your liability to $500 + gst. CDW may not be available on all vehicles and may not be available from all locations. The single vehicle excess is non-waiverable.

No Shows and Cancellations

The greater of a one day hire fee (or 10% of total hire) may be charged as a cancellation fee for no shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of pickup.

Fuel Fill and Cleaning Fee

A $25 fee applies to any vehicles needing refuelling, plus the actual fuel replacement charge.
A cleaning fee of $75 may apply for vehicles returned in an exceptionally dirty condition.

Infringement Offences

All parking and traffic violations are the responsibility of the hirer. An administration fee of $25 will be charged for processing infringement fees, the fine transferred into the hirer's name and forwarded to the hirer for payment.

Monthly Credit Accounts

A separate form needs to be completed to apply for a monthly account which must be approved by Pegasus Head Office. All overdue monthly accounts (plus interest and any costs incurred) will be charged to the credit card you provide on your application form.
The terms and conditions of enrolment in Blue Wing may be changed from time to time, which will be notified to the address provided on your application form (or your most recent address provided). Making a Blue Wing booking after the effective date of any such changes will constitute your acceptance of them.
All Blue Wing applications must be approved by Pegasus Head Office and include credit card details. Pegasus reserves the right to decline or terminate your enrolment without being required to provide any explanation. All rental charges and costs will be charged to the credit card you provide on your application form (unless otherwise notified).
